The Tournament

The Sant Cugat International Sevens 2013 begins at 10am in the morning (Saturday in June, to be defined).

Participating teams must arrive at the club between 9am and 9.30am. Please be punctual to avoid delaying the games.

For this edition we have two playgrounds, thanks to the recent opening of a new rugby pitch.

Ahead we expect more than 10 hours of rugby, thanks to the participation of 16 men and 4 women teams. In total, 240 players and more than 50 games of rugby!

During the tournament all teams will have fruit and water, plus the midday meal. All this is included in the registration fee.

For men’s teams, the tournament will follow a similar dynamic to that of the IRB World Series. After the group stage, teams will play quarterfinals to determine which cup they play (CUP, PLATE, BOWL or SHIELD). The tournament ends with the CUP final.

Immediately after the tournament final takes place, there will be the award ceremony and the third half. But the tournament does not end there, because party begins at 12am at a club in Sant Cugat.
